Privacy

Lumi collects the smallest amount of information it can get away with.

What's collected

When you book a seat: your name, email and payment details, taken by Ticket Tailor, not by this website. When you use the contact form: your name, email and message. If you join the mailing list: your email, and your first name if you gave one.

The contact form and the mailing list are the only two collected directly by this website. The contact form is handled by this website's own hosting and sent straight on to Lumi as an email — no third-party form service is involved, nothing is stored on the website, and no IP addresses are recorded. The message then lives in Lumi's mailbox like any other email.

Booking a seat

Tickets are sold through Ticket Tailor, a third-party booking platform — this site doesn't handle your booking or payment details itself. Ticket Tailor sends your confirmation and holds your booking information; their own privacy notice covers what they do with it.

The mailing list

The list is run through Mailchimp, who store the addresses on Lumi's behalf, including on servers outside the UK. Signing up adds you straight away — nothing further to confirm, no confirmation email sent. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe, and leaving removes you completely. Booking a seat does not put you on the list; you have to ask.

What it's used for

Processing your booking, cooking for you correctly, answering you, and keeping the list you asked to join. Your email is not sold, shared or added to any list you didn't ask to be on.

Payments

This website takes no payments itself and never asks for card details. Paying for a seat happens at Ticket Tailor's checkout, embedded on the pop-ups page — your card details go to them, not to Lumi's hosting.

How long it's kept

Booking records are kept as long as required for accounts. Dietary notes are kept so you don't have to repeat yourself next time — ask and they're deleted.

Your rights

You can ask what's held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email hello@dineatlumi.co.uk and it'll be done — for anything held by Ticket Tailor or Mailchimp, they're the ones to ask.
